Confidantly Chat
A browser extension that protects your privacy when using AI chat assistants by scrubbing personally identifiable information (PII) before it leaves your browser.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

- •Notification: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

✓ Your Content
You retain all rights to your content (meeting recordings, transcripts, etc.). We claim no ownership over your data.
Open Source
Portions of our cloud processing code are open-source and subject to their respective licenses.
6. Payment Terms
One-Time Purchases
- •Perpetual License: One-time purchases grant you a perpetual license to use the software
- •Refund Policy: No refunds after 30 days, except where required by law
- •Usage Scope: License is for personal or single-organization use
Subscription Services
- •Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- •Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period
- •Price Changes: Prices may change with 30 days' notice
7. Disclaimers
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee that:
- •Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- •Transcriptions will be 100% accurate
- •AI-generated summaries will be complete or correct
- •PII detection will catch all sensitive information
You are responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring compliance with your organization's policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Confidantly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Confidantly harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
10. Recording Consent
⚠️ Important: You are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent before recording any meeting or conversation. Many jurisdictions require all-party consent for recording. We are not responsible for your compliance with recording consent laws.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination:

- •We may delete your account data
- •Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
12. Changes to Terms
